A mid century shallow oven cooking or serving dish, designed by Marianne Westman for Rörstrand, Sweden. She worked at Rörstrand during the 1950s and 1960s so likely to date from that era.

The name of the design is Granada - it's a series of hand painted fruits with black outlines, predominantly yellow. A simple vintage shallow earthenware/ceramic rectangular dish with yellow handles. Stylised Scandinavian style graphics all round. Both a useable kitchen item and a decorative dish. Black outlines with hand painted yellow, blue, green and brown infill. Base colour glaze is white. Perfect for serving vegetables or fruity dishes.

Used condition with some signs of use and age. No chips, but some darker spotting along the edges. Some internal scratches. Priced accordingly. Please see all photos. Stamped to base with logo.

It's a Size 7 dish - 25cm from end to end. 22cm long x 14.5cm wide x 3cm tall.
