An American Pyrex 'Butterprint' casserole bowl. It would have been part of a cinderalla lidded stacking set of three, this being the middle size available. It features turquoise blue stylised graphics of an Amish farming scene with a farmer and his wife holding a bushel of crops, surrounding them are wheat sheafs, roosters and corn plants. Design was around 1957 so circa 1960s vintage.
The dish is around 1.5 quart, model no 474 (middle sized). 18.5cm wide diameter x 9cm high x 23.5cm long max. The base reads: "474 B 1 1/2 QT. 32. Pyrex, Made in U.S.A. Ovenware".
It's in very good condition with no chips. Not many signs of use. Good vibrant turquoise blue. Print is great - missing a little in the middle of one side, see fourth picture. Some minimal baked-in marks, mostly under one handle (first picture). Very decent, clean, displayable and collectable example!
Includes P&P to the UK.
