A super 1960s vintage Portmeirion Pottery Totem kitchen storage jar. Rarer cobalt blue colouring with white raised textured geometric patterns. Designed by Susan Williams-Ellis in the 1963 and produced into the 1970s, it's an iconic retro design. Medium sized, lidded (with wooden lid rather than ceramic) and stamped to the base.
Ceramic jar is 12cm x 10.2cm wide. With lid its 13cm tall. Ideal for teabags, sugar, coffee etc. Stamped with logo to the base. Shiny blue glaze - any marks are reflections!
It's in excellent condition with no chips. Lid is good for the age and era, it has its original rubber seal which almost forms a seal. I'm unsure if the lid is original Portmeirion as I can't find other examples.
Price includes P&P to the UK.
