A pair of Portmeirion Pottery 'Greek Key' tall ceramic slim mugs or cups. The design was by Susan Williams-Ellis and dates from around the late 1960s; these are probably early 1970s. The cylinder shapes are glazed orange and have applied black geometric print - very striking.
Each is 12.5cm tall and 6.5cm wide cylinders. Around 300ml or 1/2 pint capacity - max. They're clearly stamped to the bases.
One is in very good condition and one is in good condition. The body of one has some fine body marks and a nibble to the baseline, see last two photos. The black print is very good and vivid on both and they have no crazing, are clean and are perfectly useable.
