A teal (blue/green) art glass vase with silver leaf inclusions by Phoenician Glass, Malta. Mouth blown and handmade, this stunning piece has a bulbous round bottom with straight long slim stretched neck and flared rim. The teal or peacock colour is mottled and streaky, with a layer of random silver leaf flakes, cased in clear glass. It has a flat polished base, hand signed with 'Phoenician SP16 Malta'. I'm unsure of the age and era. 
Phoenician Glass is Leonard Sullivan who worked with Michael Harris at Mdina so there are often similarities in the Phoenician and Mdina/Isle of Wight designs.
18cm tall max x 8cm wide (5.3cm rim, inner neck about 2.5cm). Really good condition - a beautiful colourful art glass vase, perfect for any teal toned interior.
