A super ball-shaped lidded trinket container by Paul C Gooderham, Gailey Pottery, Staffordshire. It's typical of his work depicting naturalistic imagery, with incised and inlaid decor. It dates from 1976 to 2000, so circa 1980s British Studio Pottery. This round pot has a deliberate rough and raw stoneware/clay finish with two inlaid flowers and incised stems/grass. It's stamped with his PCG rectangular logo and his flower motif. 8.5cm widest x 7.5cm tall. Very good condition with no chips, the clay finish is all deliberate by Paul. Ideal for hiding knick-knacks and great for display - a lovely ball shape that fits well together. Includes P&P via Royal Mail within the UK.
