A simple and stylish Old Hall two-part modernist tealight candle holder lantern. The piece is circa 1960s to 1970s vintage. 
The conical red glass shade has a rounded soft rim and unfinished lower rim. I believe the glass shade is original vintage Scandinavian glass, mouth blwon. The steel is satin 18/8 stainless steel. The base has six round circle cutouts and an internal raised tealight candle holder. I can't find others like it so quite an unusual item that was short lived.
Stamped to the steel base with the Old Hall logo - I don't think the design is attributed to Robert Welch as his name would be on the logo. Just shy of 19.2cm tall total. The base is 8cm wide with a 4cm wide holder. Very good condition with some small internal signs of previous use. The glass is as produced with a rough inner cut-off.
