A set of vintage bowls and a plate by Emulox, Norway. Circa mid century 1960s to 1970s vintage.
The aluminium four piece set comes in slightly different complimentary shades of blue, varying from a dark turquoise blue, mid blue and a Royal blue. I believe Emulux were awarded a prize for good Norwegian design in 1967 for this Emalox colourful range designed by Bjørn Engø. Lovely metallic blue enamel-coated pieces, with silver coloured rims. The base metal is aluminium (silver colour). Two maintain a sticker to the base.
Plate - 31cm wide, very good with a few tiny signs of age. Some staining to the base. Label to base.
Tallest bowl - 15cm wide x 6cm tall, very good with some tiny signs of use to the rim. Remnants of label to base.
Shallow bowl - 15cm wide x 4cm tall, very good with some tiny signs of use to the rim. 
Small bowl - 10cm wide x 3.5cm tall, excellent with very little signs of age. Label to base.
All in overall great condition, see photos. Multi-purpose and just the right size for sweets, dry snacks, jewellery, keys, fruit, or just perfect as shown on display as cluster and a splash of colour. Quality collectable metallic Scandinavian dishes - just like Cathrineholm, Olden or Elox.
