A single serving cutlery set, in the stylish Manhattan design by Joseph Rodgers & Sons, Sheffield, England.
Circa 1950s to 1960s vintage, this set oozes sophisticated Mid-century Modernist design. The flatware pieces have a satin stainless steel upper and rounded rosewood handles. The cutlery set is for one person and comes boxed with the original 'Design Centre London' tag. It looks to be unused. The set consists of (l-r): a fruit or starter knife, dinner fork, soup spoon, coffee spoon or teaspoon, dessert spoon, starter or fruit fork, and dinner knife. Some pieces have the maker's marks to the reverse.
Excellent condition with no signs of use. I'll buff up the steel before posting. The box is aged and as you'd expect for about 60 years old.
