A mid century small candle holder by Monsterbe for Paro, Denmark, circa 1960s/1970s.
It's design no 285 'Hjerte' or 'Stage', very much Jens Quistgaard (Dansk) style. It's a starburst or spider shape with two tiers of six holders on straight angled arms. The candle holder holes are just 7mm wide so suited to those very slim and tall Scandinavian candles (or birthday candles), if used. The cast metal is a dark graphite grey colour and the stand has small 'studs' under the lower layer to give the illusion of floating.
It looks to be unused, no wax. Very good with a few small marks, see pics. 10cm wide x 10cm deep x 4.2cm tall.
