A stunning mid century vintage style lampshade. It's like a spiderweb, intricately woven around a set of seven lucite (perspex) combs and two silver-coloured lucite discs. Symmetrical with no strings out of place. Very much like lamp shades by Paul Secon for Sompex, Germany. Unknown age and origin, with fab and groovy 1970s vibes.

The lucite has a mirror finish, highly reflective. The strings are most likely nylon - they are clear/white in appearance. There's a silver-coloured metal adaptor to go inside the shade to make it UK light fitting (pictured), the adaptor has a 28mm wide inner hole (please check this works for you, it uses gravity to hold in place). Suitable for bulbs under 60W (old sticker remains to the top). For a pendant type ceiling light fitting.

Very good vintage condition, with some slight internal splash marks/dirt and some patches of missing silver (to the upper ring caused by sellotape).

Very usable and displayable. Perfect for a modernist or space age room - it's bright silver white in colouring. So striking - will bounce light around the room!

Apx 28cm tall x 30cm wide - round shaped. Please be careful cleaning it, the silver comes off easily. Price includes P&P to the UK.
