A stunning space age/retro styled lampshade. It's like a spiderweb, intricately woven around a set of nine lucite (perspex) arced combs and a gold coloured wire inner backbone. Symmetrical with no strings out of place. Unknown age and origin with groovy 1970s or post modernist 1980s vibes. Very much like mid century lamp shades by Paul Secon for Sompex, Germany - I'm unsure if it is, please google. The lucite is clear and shaped. The strings are most likely nylon - they are clear/white in appearance. There's an upper gold-coloured fixed metal UK light adaptor with a 28mm wide inner hole. Suitable for bulbs under 100W (old sticker remains to the top). For a pendant type ceiling light fitting. Very good condition with just some small dots of trapped dust. Very usable and displayable. Fragile. Perfect for a modernist, space age or 80s post-modernist room - it's clear white and gold in colouring. A bit smaller than some or these shades. Apx 21cm tall x 24cm wide - round shaped. Price includes P&P to the UK.
