A striking chunky Knobbly vase by Liskeard Glass, Cornwall, England. Designed in the 1970s by Jim Dyer, brother of Harry Dyer who was designing the more famous Knobbly vases at Whitefriars Glass. (Jim did also work at Whitefriars). The vase bears the distinctive LG stamp on the base and has its original old paper sticker. It's very thick solid glass with a thick flat rim. All clear glass. There are three rows of knobbles and dimples and swirls on the outer surface. The vase tapers in towards the rim, with a wider lower part. Handmade/mouth blown in to a mould, in the 1970s. Very good condition for age and era. No chips. Great for display and for a collection! 13.5cm tall x 10cm wide at widest point. Weighs a very hefty 1.25kg - a big chunk. Free UK P&P.
