A cute handmade vintage Kosta (Sweden) hedgehog figurine by Vicke Lindstrand, hand signed and with original label.
A solid crystal glass minimalist hedgehog, with a mass of small simple engraved lines as hair-like spines, small snub nose with flat end, and tiny etched eyes. Designed in the late 1950s, this is a 1970s version (with the five figure code to the base). Made in Sweden by Kosta - became Kosta Boda in 1976 I believe. Flat polished base, which is fully hand signed "Kosta 91329  LINDSTRAND" (I think those are the numbers, unusual to have Lindstrand written there as well). This also has the old Kosta Sweden sticker too. 
Apx 7 x 6 x 5cm, solid crystal-content glass, high quality and bright and clear. In excellent condition for age. Being hand finished these are all slightly different - this one has a shorter snub nose. He's just adorable!
