A Korosten Porcelain jumping horse figurine, made in the former USSR Soviet Union (now Ukraine). The mid century figure is hand painted in a rarer polka dot pattern, and is circa late 1950s to 1960s vintage.
It's a smooth glazed glossy white with black decor, over a hollow moulded fine white porcelain. It looks like the horse is jumping over waves. Maker's marks to the baseline.
Very good condition with no chips. Displays very well. Has some small dots of paint loss to the tail, see photos. 12.5cm x 10cm tall x 3.5cm wide - a perfect vintage shelf trinket for a horsey person and a fantastic addition for a 1950s-1960s USSR porcelain collector.
