A set of six drinks coasters by Koha. Circa vintage 1970s and made in New Zealand. The drinks mats are square and black with a mass of paua shells set in black resin. The shells form a blue/turquoise iridescent smooth flat finish over a metal/steel layer. Each still has its original front and back label showing very little use - and they come boxed!
The coasters are small thin squares, 7 x 7cm. Ideal for a retro home bar and a fun kitsch setting.
 
Very good condition, see pics. Two have missing corner shells as they are quite fragile. Each has their four original felt foot pads. The box is old and complete - they were made at G.D. Beaston Ltd.
