A striking and stylish mid-century pewter and tiger's eye pendant on a steel chain necklace. Handmade by Jorgen Jensen, Denmark, and fully stamped to the back with 'Pewter Jorgen Jensen Denmark 294'. 
Round ring/hoop shape with a tigers eye stone claw mounted to the centre, brutalist and modernist style. The pendant is a chunky statement sized 36mm diameter circle with 6mm tall flat sides (45mm tall with loop to the top). The central polished natural stone is 20mm tall x 18mm wide. The sandy brown shimmery stone has natural layers/lines within and has six lovely chunky claws holding it in place. The pewter is a silver grey metal with a slight shine; it can be polished up or left to dull. Chunky steel chain is original to the piece and is 27" long; it is slip-on.
Very good condition for age (see photos), perfect for wearing and for gifting. Looks stylish and retro - a statement-sized wearable vintage item.
