A large stylish statement Modernist 1960s green glass and pewter pendant on a retro chain necklace. Handmade by Jorgen Jensen, Denmark, and fully stamped on the reverse with 'Pewter 200 D Jorgen Jensen Denmark'. (Model number 200). Jorgen Jenson (1895-1966) was son of Georg Jensen, renowned Danish silversmith. The three-petal symmetric pendant is like three pewter shallow cups each in a flower shape with an oval green stone within. A large 58mm x 50mm x 6mm pendant. The original chunky necklace chain is steel (silver-coloured metal), it is vintage and non-adjustable with a snap ring fastening; it's 25" long - best just to slip on as the clasp is fiddly. Oval glass 'stones' are 13mm long and a malachite green. Great condition for age, very presentable, wearable and a perfect vintage gift idea. The pewter is a silver grey metal with a slight shine. The metal is soft so has a bit of natural aging. Looks great on! A super mdoernist Jorgen Jensen piece in great condition. Includes P&P to the UK with presentation box.
