A 'fat lava' era pottery vase by Jasba Keramik, West Germany. It's a curvy shape with a wide rounded centre and a fabulous rich orange glaze with blacker highlights. There's a repeated spiral relief pattern around it and an ornamental small round handle. Apx 1960s/1970s mid century vintage.
Stamped on base with 'N322 13 26' - the last '26' meaning 26cm tall (a large vase), and 322 being the spiral pattern. The art pottery vase is 26cm tall x 16cm widest, 9cm wide rim. Suitable to take a good dozen taller stems if used as a vase.
Very good displayable and collectable and useable condition. No chips or crazing. Displays very well, a stunning vibrant colour!
