A beautiful Isle of Wight Studio Glass 'Wild Garden' footed cylinder vase. This design, Wild Rose (Pink, 2001-2009) was designed and made by Timothy Harris. It has a dusky pink rim and pale green base and is a hard to find design.
Timothy Harris is son of Michael Harris (Mdina and Isle of Wight Studio Glass) and brother to Jonathan Harris (Isle of Wight Studio Glass). It's clear to see the family connection and influences.
The cylinder is clear with detailed pink flower canes, fine flower stems fading down to the green base and a base layer of speckled gold leaf. The flowers were very thin slices of cane which were applied to the hot surface. It has a rounded foot with flat polished base. It's a small 12cm tall vase - the cylinder is about 3.7cm wide and the gently flared rim is 4.4cm. 
It maintains its original gold paper sticker. The sticker (with The Original on it) dates it to 2001-2004, so just over 20 years old.
Excellent condition. It's a beautiful piece!
