A beautiful art glass vase designed by Michael Harris in collaboration with William Walker in 1978 for Harris's Isle of Wight Studio. It's the Black - which is actually a dark blue - with gold and silver foil, part of the Azurene pattern range. Circa 1980s vintage.
The foil colours are quite subtle - layered fragments of gold and silver, with iridescent pinky lilac tones, over the dark smoky blue. Handmade, mouth blown, these are all different. It has the original triangular factory label/sticker on the flat polished base. Distinctive cylinder shape with subtle turned out rim.  
This is the smaller sized vase, 5.5" (13.5cm) tall and about 4cm wide. Very good condition. A lovely Michael Harris collectable vase with quite a lot going on. See pics.
