A lovely vintage (1970s or 1980s) Finnish art glass candle holder by Iittala, signed 'TS'. Designed by Timo Sarpaneva.
Heavy quality moulded/pressed icy textured crystal-content glass with polished smooth upper surface rim. Taller four ring design.
Excellent condition. Hand signed 'TS' to the base. Visible irregular seams from time of manufacture. A couple of tiny air bubbles. 18 x 8.5cm wide at the base. The hole is 2cm wide, so more suited to a narrower tapered candle, or just for display. The four hoops aren't as irregular as some. 650 grams.
Perfect for a collector, and suitable for both mid-century mantelpiece or contemporary home.
