A pair of unusual 1980s iittala Balladi hanging votive candle holders... Designed by Jorma Vennola in 1984 and produced through to 1991 for Iittala, Finland. Round moulded glass cups with frosted finish and four clear windows. They each come with a red support wire, a red hanging wire and a long red hanging cord. They are boxed with iittala labels and come with a flyer. The glass tealight candle holders can be used without the hangers. Very Scandinavian and Christmassy! Very good condition. Lightly handled with no chips or nibbles or wax debris. A couple of black patches to the red wires where they've been in contact and some slight scuff marks to the frosted glass from the red wires. They have their original 1980s rectangular iittala plastic stickers. Glass holders are 7cm x 7cm. With holder and hook the total length hanging is 25.5cm tall. Free P&P to the UK.
