An older vintage Hornsea 'bon-bon dish or ashtray' dating from just 1955 and 1956. It's model/mould number 204C and is a moulded ceramic bowl. Custard yellow inner glaze with white outer with twelve brown/black spots along the outer rim shape, all glossy and smooth slipware. It's a triangular pinched/crimped shape with curves.
It's in excellent condition for the age (80 years old and still looks modern and cool). No crazing or chips or anything, a great example. Stamped to the base with the early Hornsea logo. Roughly 10 x 10 x 4cm.
All my prices include P&P to the UK.
