An iconic Hornsea Pottery Saffron teapot from the 1970s. A John Clappison design, British made. Stamped with the Hornsea logo to the base. A satin ochre/tan glaze with a more terracotta orange matt geometric dotty flower pattern over, with a matching lid. Simple straight-sided retro design. Excellent condition with no chips or crazing or signs of use, pretty much as it left the factory 50 years ago. Very usable and displayable. Apx 14cm tall x 20cm long x 13cm wide - quite sizeable and would hold around 2 pints. All my prices include P&P to the UK.
