A lovely retro 1970s art pottery piece by Honiton Pottery, Devon. The bottle vase is a simple glossy smooth deep browny-green (with subtle horizontal lines) with a blue-grey speckled neck. The light coloured clay straight-sided vessel was handmade - thrown on a wheel. Fabulously 1970s and simple, and ideal as a vintage prop.
A smaller 18.5cm tall x 6.3cm wide rim x 7.2cm wide at the base. The inner rim shelf would also hold a slimmer pillar candle. Very good condition for the age with no chips or cracks or crazing. Incised maker's name to the base.
