A beautiful petite Holmegaard (Denmark) glass cylinder vase. Fully signed to the flat polished base with 'Holmegaard [then a PL signature] 16912". The PL signature = Per Lutken. Designed in 1955 so likely to be 1950s or 1960s era. The mouth blown handmade glass is rounded and tactile - weighs 230g. Deep 'safir' sapphire blue glass. 
Displays beautifully. Stunning with just a single statement stem. Very good example with no chips, nibbles or water marks. A few tiny bubbles and a 2mm scratch. Clean polished base with hardly any wear. 12.5cm tall x 4.5cm base (4cm wide rim).
