An unused 'Glacia' candle holder bowl by Mats Jonasson, Maleras Glass, Sweden. Early 1980s vintage, from his Signature Collection.
Handmade lead crystal flower-shaped bowl with icy outer delicate fine petals. The bowl is inspired by the Glacier Crowfoot flower (Snowflower), see last image for full information. Designed as a candle holder - this comes unused with its original tealight candle, original sticker, information leaflet, packing foam, and box.
Light fine crystal glass with icy and frosty outer ends of petals, and flower core detail underneath. Irregular flared rim with petal-like undulations and folds. Smooth internally. Very similar to the Anemone bowl and the Kosta Boda Waterlily bowl, also by Mats Jonasson. Being handmade they're all slightly different.
In perfect condition. Clean and bright, lightly frosted clear glass. Lead crystal content. This would be handcrafted moulded art glass. Just the right size for tealight candle - 6cm tall x 10cm wide.
