A fabulous good-sized mid century German silver pendant and necklace...
The 1960s-1980s vintage pendant features a large oval tigers eye stone, with silver oval layered openwork surround. The stone is 3cm long and the sizeable pendant is 41mm x 25mm, 55mm long with the long bail. It's stamped to the reverse with "800 K&L" - Kordes & Lichtenfels, Germany, and the silver is European grade 800 silver. The pendant weighs 8g.
The pendant comes on a high quality replacement 17" 925 sterling silver square snake/herringbone chain so the pendant sits within an open neckline, see photos. The substantial 1.5mm wide chain weighs 5g and has a lobster clasp. (The chain could be worn separately, it's lovely).
