A fabulous vintage ceramic hooped vase or candle holder, made by Flora Ceramics, Holland. It's in a Jema and Bellini/Bitossi style blue/green with a 'Faenza Craquelé' or Chinese Blue crackle glaze which is designed to have a glossy crazed effect with bleeding patterns. There are more controlled stripes top and bottom. The cylinder can be a vase or a pillar/large tealight candle holder. Circa 1970s vintage, it is design no 91/2 and is signed to the base and has its original Faenza Craquelé sticker. 15.5cm tall x 7cm wide cylinder, 5.9cm wide inner rim with shoulders that can hold a candle. Very good condition - perfect for a vintage, kitsch or mid-century home. No chips or cracks - the glaze is deliberately crazed through the central glossy section. A very nice example. Includes P&P to the UK.
