A mid century Scandinavian ornamental small cheese board, trivet or wall plaque - from the 'Lotte' design by Turi Gramstad Oliver for Figgjo Flint, Norway. The pattern was created in the 1960s, so of this mid century era. 
White glazed ceramic or stoneware, with a screen-printed design of a whimsical stylised woman surrounded by flowers and foliage. The design is a hand painted silkscreen. Shades of blue with mauve and olive green. Looks hand-drawn/sketched and is typically retro Nordic. Stamped underneath with: "Turi-design. Lotte. Made in Norway. FF. Handpainted Silkscreen". 
In excellent condition with no chips, knife marks or crazing, see photos. 6" or 15.3cm long x 10.6cm wide, and flat. More for display and for hanging than for practical use.
