A virtually perfect early example of a Pyrex JAJ (Jobling) Snowflake design shallow casserole dish, or space saver. Design no 2161, 2.5 pint Shallow Oblong Casserole. It's the Turquoise blue print with white snowflakes, on white glass. Snowflake was made 1958-67 and was part of the Gaiety range. It has Pyrex Tableware writing around the crown logo on the base - dating it to an earlier example from 1958-1960.
Casserole dish is 28.7 x 17 x 4.3cm. It holds 2.5 pints right to the brim (apparently). Stamped underneath handles with '2161' and '23A'.
It is in amazing, virtually untouched condition with no real signs of use. Print/colour is clean and vivid and glossy. No baked in marks, and no obvious scratches or wear. No chips... as good as you will find!
