A super art pottery plant pot holder by Denby Stoneware, England. The classy mid century modern planter is a dark blue/grey denim colour with hand drawn white lines in a series of geometric overlapping checks. Glazed satin stone white top and bottom and inner. Circa 1960s/1970s, unknown decor name and logo to the base.
12cm tall x 13cm widest, would fit a smaller plant pot of up to 11cm tall. Heavy stoneware - 660g.
Very good for age with no chips or cracks. Some areas of smeared colour and a few small internal marks. Please see all pics. Great for use, display and for a collector - a stylish modernist piece of vintage home decor.
