A super Dartington Pottery studio pottery vase by Janice Tchalenko. She designed many pieces for Dartington Pottery during the 1980s - I can't find the name of this rare abstract design.
A wheel thrown pottery/stoneware glazed vase with round base and square rim, it's hand decorated with block of teal or peacock green with dusky blue lines and framed with fine pale yellow. The blue also continues inside the upper vase. It's stamped with the DP logo to the baseline. Circa 1980s vintage.
Very good with no chips or damage. A larger sized 19.5cm tall x 12cm x 12cm square rim.
