A vintage art glass vase, designed by Frank Thrower and hand made for Dartington, Devon, England.
The design originated in 1968 and is FT95. It's part of the series of 'X-Certificate' Nipple vases, with four rows of patterns. It is hexagonal with six vertical sides. Each side of the vase has four 'nipple' shapes - a central protruding dome with raised dots around. Bright clear crystal content glass (24% lead crystal). Polished rim. Being handmade (mouth blown in to a mould), it has slight variations in the glass.
It's in clean excellent condition.
15cm tall x 7cm widest... a pretty and mid-sized mid-century collectable vase.
