A vintage 1970s textured vase, designed by Frank Thrower and hand made at Dartington, Devon, England. The design originated in 1975 and was made until 1980. It is FT191 which was referred to as the 'Textured Flower Box'. It's the rectangular wider and shorter version of the design - there's four different sizes/shapes. 
It has a lightly bobbled/pitted ice textured surface on all four flat faces - the texture reminds me of the Timo Sarpaneva  range of textured vases for iittala. Flat polished rim. Heavy bright clear crystal content glass that looks great on display. 
Very good condition with no chips and a very good rim. Very very slight water line. 105mm x 90mm x 55mm - a short and rectangular block posy vase for shorter stems.
