A super large art glass vase designed by Belinda Hornsey for Dartington Crystal as part of their 'Intimates' range. This dates from about 1999-2000 and is very much in a mid century Scandinavian/Finnish style.
Mouth blown and handmade with a mould, it has a lovely crystal ring to it. The Intimates vases were designed to fit against each other and fit closely into each other's shape/space. This is the taller design of vase in a sapphire or sky blue, cased in clear. It maintains its original sticker and is etch signed to the base.
A good sized statement vase - 23cm tall x 9.5cm widest at the three hoops x 7.5cm rim. Very good clean condition with a very good flat polished rim. Not many signs of use.
