Danish Erik Arvig 830 silver brooch. Modernist flower buds leaves ring circle
A pretty mid century brooch by Erik Arvig, Copenhagen, Denmark. Dating from the mid century era, apx 1945 to 1955, it's a beautifully elegant simplified Scandinavian style, almost Art Nouveau inspired. A high quality Scandinavian grade 830 silver brooch in an open circle shape, it's alternating leaves and flower buds (or cherries).
It's a nice mid sized 38mm diameter with a roll-over pin to the reverse. It's stamped 'E Arvig 830 S' to the reverse. Weighs a good 8 grams. In very good shiny condition. Perfect gift idea!
