A pair of matching triangular-shaped vintage Chodziez ashtrays or pin dishes. They're asymmetric and glazed orange over a white porcelain/ceramic base, with white freehand atomic-inspired patterns carefully scratched on. Made in Poland in the 1950s.
The shape is shallow with one flatter end with an indent for a cigarette. The orange is slightly duller than a 'pure' orange. The incised (sgraffito) lines are hand drawn and are both similar. Logos are printed to the bases.
Both very good vintage condition and very displayable. No chips or cracks or crazing. Some glaze inconsistencies to the orange but no signs of use as an ashtray. Each 14.5 x 10 x 2cm. 
All very Atomic and typical of the sputnik era.
