A vintage Lotus pattern Cathrineholm teapot/kettle, made in Norway. Circa 1960s mid century.
Enamelled steel with an olive/avocado green enamel coating, with white Lotus leaf printed design. Aluminium fold-flat handle with black (early) plastic trim. It's the taller version of the teapot design. The black base has a Cathrineholm logo and is stamped with 'seconds'. 
Teapot is 12cm without lid, 15cm with lid, 21cm with handle up. The body is 15cm widest, 22cm longest with spout and handle. 
Nice shiny displayable condition. Clean inside. Only about six small spots of enamel loss and a few very small spots of rust - some rust/patina around the inner handles and spout end. Minimal surface marks and a nibble out of the plastic lid lift. The aluminium will polish up more. But better than many and very good for 50+ years old! Please see all photos, any tiny flaws are just mentioned for accuracy.
Perfect for display in a mid century kitchen - and great gift idea! Probably more for display than use. Untested for use. I can send more photos if needed.
