A lovely large 26cm tall vase by Carstens Tönnieshof, Austria. Circa 1960s to 1970s fat lava mid century era. It's in a fabulous green mottled bubbly decor. Model number 663-25. (Carstens outsourced their West German ceramics to Austria at their peak, and this is an Austrian produced West German Carstens Tönnieshof vase).
The satin green (over a glossy black) is a bluey green, like a malachite. The glaze is all smooth and bubbly and cloud-like, with a contrasting glossy brown inner. 
26.5cm tall x 13cm wide at the shoulders x 11.5cm rim - a perfect centrepiece statement for a mid-century room. It's in very good condition. It has a few pencil-like marks to the satin surface in certain lights, but no visible chips or cracks. Great colour! Please see photos.
