A stunning collectable handmade Caithness millefiori art glass ladybird paperweight... The pretty red and black small central ladybird is surrounded by two rows of concentric millefiori canes in yellow and mauve. All solid glass and by Allan Scott in 1990 as part of his Miniature Series. Model is probably shape is P2 - five side oval faces/facets cut flat, plus a flat top. The overall colour comes across as white and mauve. Roughly 5.7cm wide x 4.5cm tall. 
Hand scribed to the base with number 'R65444', along with the Caithness Miniatures Ladybird Scotland stmap. Excellent condition, I can't see any flaws.
