A fab retro set of four Peat (smoky brown) small wine glasses, designed by Colin Terris in the 1960s/1970s for Caithness, Scotland. From the Canisbay range.
Colin was heavily influenced by Scandinavian design, and this series colouring is influenced by the Scottish landscape - this colour is Peat. (The design was awarded a Design Council accreditation shortly after its introduction). I'm pretty sure they are model no 4060/WI (wine).
Chunky quality items in very good condition. A couple of tiny marks and internal bubbles, but all very good. Wobbles to each rim from being handmade/mouth blown - very good rims with no fleabites. Each one is 13.5cm (5.5") tall with a solid glass base. Apx 160ml, so ideal for a 125ml measure of wine.
