A vintage 1960s/1970s West German steel metal vase, very likely by BMF (Bayerische Metallwarenfabrik). The machine produced silver coloured cylinder has a random brutalist vertical bark textured body with machine cut indented plain bands.
A good sized 22cm tall x 6cm straight-sided metal vase. Very good for age/era, holds water. From some angles there's some dirt in the textures, shown, but I'll give it scrub. It has a brass base underneath with no maker's marks. Some welding debris inside from attaching the brass base.
Looks good on display - I'm loving the brutalist bark textures. Will look great clustered with other similar German mid century steel vases... there's so many to collect.
