A super vintage Danish and Scandinavian style pickles, sauces or hors-d'oeuvres serving tray. Circa 1970s mid century. Whilst it screams Scandi, it's actually by Decor Woodware, England and was produced in limited numbers for Branston pickle company Crosse & Blackwell. It comes boxed with no signs of use.
A teak long wooden holder tray with three circular indents, with three round glass removable dishes - ideal for sauces, dips, nuts, olives, etc. The glass dishes/bowls are straight sided and are a retro smokey grey and are handmade and moulded. Teak wooden holder is 16 inches x 5 inches. It's stamped to the back with the logo 'Decor Woodware, English Made'. The lovely glass dishes are 11cm x 2.5cm. The original pickle fork/spoon is stainless steel and made in Sheffield.
All really good condition with no real signs of age and use. Wood is very good, a good natural teak reddy sheen (the round indented cuts are slightly off centre). Glass dishes are great, as is spork. Box shows some small signs of age from being stored for about 50 years.
