A lovely vintage 'olives' glass vase. It's Czech/Bohemian and made by Borske Sklo in the 1960s or so. It's a fab turquoise or kingfisher blue colour, with oval optical lens patterns... the lenses are slightly indented. The lenses create a lovely optical effect. It's mould blown and has the correct tell-tale impressed cross on the base from the mould. This shape is onion-like with a bulbous lower and a thicker cylindrical neck.
As with many of these, the top inside rim is very fragile and susceptible. This flat polished rim is very good with no noticeable flaws, see photos. Base is very good too. A very nice example. It's a medium sized - 16cm tall x 13cm widest. The rim is 5.5cm wide. 
An art glass statement and great splash of colour, perfect to be bunched with other similar pieces.
