A beautiful Bitossi plant pot holder. Designed by Aldo Londi, in the Rimini Blu coloured Spagnolo pattern. Circa 1960s - this range dates from 1963 and was made in to the 1970s.

A straight-sided shape with lightly flaring rim. Glossy glazed outer surfaces with distinctive Bitossi indented stamps and patterns and small holes (inspired by Moorish tiles). Colours - deep turquoise blue with some deeper Royal blue patterns and a splash of green. Handmade and rustic in feel and nature. Unmarked to the base.

Excellent external condition, please study photos. Due to the rough surface these are prone to slither chips, but this example has a particularly good rim and pattern. Internally it has some signs of use. Tested for water tightness.

Apx 4" tall x 5" wide at the rim (11cm wide base). Would hold a plant pot of 10cm wide x 10cm high max, if used.

Please see all photos. Price includes P&P.
