A lovely statement long and low art glass (lead crystal) bird shaped dish by Art Vannes, France. No markings to be the base, but I'm certain this is by Art Vannes from Vannes le Chatel.
He's a minimalist bird in flight, with long pointy tail and neck and narrow streamlined wings. Smooth and tactile, handmade, and circa 1960s to 1970s vintage. The inner bowl, if used, is suited as a sweetie/snack/trinket bowl (roughly 15 x 4 x 3cm bowl). The crystal is quality and and has a slight hint of grey. It's a larger long and low piece: 32cm x 13 x 8cm. 
Nice condition uppers and on display. He has a slightly rough nose with a little 1mm graze to one side (not noticeable). Base shows signs of its age and era, see photos. 
Hard to photograph in these dull conditions -  photos don't do him justice. He's lovely!
