Stylish Modernist stainless steel ice tongs designed by Arne Jacobsen for A/S Stelton, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Part of the iconic Cylinda Line range from the late 1960s, these are the straight simple minimalist version of the design without the three holes (I wonder if it's the original older design). It's stamped internally with 'Stelton Stainless Denmark' and the 'A' signature which I assume is Arne's signature/mark. Circa 1960s/1970s vintage.
High quality designer item in stainless steel, it's slimline and straight. Good condition for age/era with some small signs of age. 17cm long x 3.8cm high x 12cm wide.
