A beautiful minimalist and rare horse's head sculpture, by Anette Edmark (Stockholm, Sweden). The piece is vintage Ikea, Sweden, from 1999 and is called 'Brodd'. It was Art Deco inspired, mixed with a bit of Scandi modernism. A good large size, perfect for a mantelpiece or shelf. Simple lines, stylised, looking down with ears pricked. A desirable and sought-after sculpture that must've been in short production. 
He's a satin off-white smooth finish (slightly mottled/speckled with some natural fine pitting and thinner areas). He is made of a moulded terracotta ceramic/pottery and stands 27.5cm tall, 14.5 x 7.5cm base.
Good used condition. This does have a few scuffs which have been very subtly touched up to the tops of the ears and baseline - they don't really show. One other small surface scratch, like pencil. Please see all photos. I'd give it a 7.5/10 - good for display, for a collector and a collection. No chips.
